Lamborghini Revuelto

The Revuelto is the first Lamborghini to put three electric motors around a naturally aspirated V12 rather than in place of one. The engine still revs to 9,500 rpm and still sounds like nothing else on Sheikh Zayed Road; the motors fill in underneath it so there is no pause anywhere between idle and the limiter.

In practice that makes it far easier to drive slowly than any V12 Lamborghini before it. Città mode runs on electricity alone, which matters when you are leaving a hotel at six in the morning or crawling through Marina traffic. Put it in Corsa on an empty stretch of Al Qudra and it reaches 100 km/h in two and a half seconds.

It is the most photographed car in our fleet, and the doors are most of the reason. They open upward, they open in a hotel forecourt, and everyone stops.
