Choosing the 750S Spider in Dubai.
The 750S is the lightest car in the fleet by a clear margin — 1,326 kg dry, which is roughly half a Cullinan. That is what a carbon tub buys you, and it is why the 750S changes direction in a way the numbers alone do not explain.
The roof folds in eleven seconds. With it down and the rear window lowered, the twin-turbo V8 is directly behind your head. Papaya orange is McLaren's own racing colour and this car wears it properly.
Doors up in a hotel forecourt, and it draws as big a crowd as the Lamborghini for two thirds of the daily rate.

- A UAE licence, or your home licence together with an International Driving Permit.

- None on this car. Nothing is held against your card.

- Comprehensive cover is included. The excess is AED 9,000 and is shown on the agreement before you sign.
- Mileage
- 250 km per day. Beyond that, AED 15 per kilometre, agreed in advance.
- Fuel
- Delivered full, returned full. No refuelling charge if you bring it back the same.

Can I drive the 750S Spider to Abu Dhabi?
Yes, and anywhere else in the UAE. Oman and Saudi Arabia need written permission and additional insurance, which we arrange with a few days notice.
Is there really no deposit?
None on this car. Some rental companies hold five figures against your card; we do not.
What happens if I go over 250 km in a day?
AED 15 per additional kilometre. There is no penalty rate — the price is the same whether you go over by ten kilometres or two hundred.
Can someone else drive it?
Only a named additional driver on the agreement, with the same licence requirements. Adding one is free.
How quickly can you deliver?
Usually within the hour anywhere in Dubai, subject to the car being back from its previous rental.
